Summer can be a joyful time, full of relaxing vacations, picnics, and lemonade in the shade. It can also be a sweaty, dangerous, and seemingly endless stretch of days. That’s why we’re devoting a week of blog posts to different ways to beat the heat, exploring everything from a potential cure for night sweats to a DIY trick for cooling down an overheated body fast. We’re keeping things light (and delicious), too, with our favorite canned cocktails and a list of the best store-bought ice cream sandwiches. (We had an excess of testing volunteers for both.)
